WILLISTON, Vt. (AP) — Police say a teenager has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in the town of Williston, Vermont.

Police say 16-year-old Solomon Jenkins, of Williston, was in serious condition when first responders arrived on the scene early Thursday. The teen died later at a hospital.

Officials are say the 15-year-old driver was treated at a hospital and released.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Vermont law requires 15-year-old drivers to have a learner's permit and to be accompanied by a parent or adult 25 or older.
