ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Angels right-hander Jason Dickson will go on the disabled list with tendinitis in his left hip and stiffness in his pitching shoulder.

Anaheim will purchase the contract of right-hander Brett Hinchliffe from Triple-A Edmonton and transfer right-hander Tim Belcher from the 15-day to the 60-day DL.

Angels general manager Bill Stoneman said the moves will be effective Saturday.

Dickson went on the 15-day DL April 29 with a strained left hip flexor muscle and was activated Sunday. But after his first start back, he felt pain in his hip and stiffness in his throwing shoulder.

He is 2-2 with a 6.11 ERA in six starts this season.

Hinchliffe was 1-2 with a 3.24 ERA in 13 games, including one start, for Edmonton.

Belcher, 38, was placed on the 15-day DL in March. He is recovering from off-season surgery on his right elbow.
