Airgain: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Airgain Inc. (AIRG) on Thursday reported a loss of $3.2 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 2 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 5 cents per share.
The antenna products developer posted revenue of $15 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in October, Airgain expects its per-share earnings to range from 3 cents to 5 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $15.6 million to $15.8 million for the fiscal third quarter.
Airgain shares have risen slightly more than 7 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $9.65, a drop of 10 percent in the last 12 months.
