The Sauk County Fair takes place today and Sunday at the Sauk County Fairgrounds, 700 Washington Ave., in Baraboo.


9 a.m. — Horse Show, Horse Arena

9 a.m. — Youth and open class exhibit buildings open

10 a.m. — Taste of Sauk County, open class building no. 1

10 a.m. — Commercial Building open until 9 p.m.

10 a.m. — Filipe Barbosa Jiu Jitsu Academy women’s-only kickboxing demonstration, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

11 a.m. — 4-H Action Center open until 4 p.m., 4-H Pavilion

11:30 a.m. — Meat Animal Sale Buyers Luncheon

Noon — Brian & the Mississippi Valley Dutchmen Band, Litscher Pavilion

Noon — Happy Feet Comfort Hoof Care offers cows’ feet presentation, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

1 p.m. — Carnival opens; $25 wristband

2 p.m. — Keri Olson author, speaker, writer and blogger presentation, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

1 p.m. — Live Meat Animal Sale, Progress Hall

4 p.m. — Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull, Commercial Building

4 p.m. — See lnga Witscher from the PBS show “Around the Farm Table,” FAME Stage, Commercial Building

6 p.m. — Creative Motion School of Dance “Broadway Bound” dance performance, FAME Stage, Commercial Building

7 p.m. — ATV Races, Grandstand, $10 adults, $5 kids 6-12

9 p.m. — Forgotten Highway live band, Litscher Pavilion
