Westford Academy blanked Waltham, 3-0, in a Dual County League girls volleyball match.

Elsewhere, the Lowell High boys soccer team blanked Methuen, 4-0, in MVC action.

Kaitlin Cannuscio notched 4 kills and 7 aces as the Grey Ghosts swept past Waltham, 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

The Grey Ghosts improved their record to 2-0.

Shawsheen Tech 3

Chelsea 0

Led by Brooke Johnson, the Rams captured the CAC victory in Billerica.

Johnson provided excellent serve reception and strong offense. Marissa Brangiforte also starred, especially at the service line.

Oyster River 3

Pelham 0

Despite 5 service points, 3 aces and 2 kills from Natalia Villanueva, the Pythons fell to the Durham school.

Game scores were 25-19, 25-5, 25-6.

Pelham (1-2) also received 3 kills from Kate Fisher, 4 blocks from Maria Dagher, 5 blocks from Hannah Andrewchuk and 18 digs from Elise Hooper.

Mystic Valley 3

The Gryphons lost a tough decision to Mystic Valley, 25-18, 17-25, 25-23, 26-24.

Playing well for the Gryphons was Maddy Kearns with 9 service points, 4 aces and 6 kills.

Araceli Lopez added 3 blocks. Providing great all-around play were Jessica MacFadgen, Kailynn Senechiame and LaryBeth Laviena.

Individual winners for Lowell during the road loss were Patrick Cote (2&1), Nick Mandeville (2&1) and Thomas Carolan (4&2).

Four ball winners were Owen Goulette and Trevor Green (1 up), and Nick Mandeville and Thomas Carolan (2&1).

Goals from George Zuleta, Vinicius Silochi, Eleazar Fataki and Gustavo Eigueiredo lifted the Red Raiders.

Picking up an assist each were Evan Tu, Jonathon DiGiovanni and Bu Reh. Combining on the shutout were Edgar Delannoy (8 saves) and Jack Waterhouse (3 saves).

James DiGiovanni, Fataki and Steven Monsalve played well on defense. Enzo Milani, Zuleta and Emmanuel Lopea starred at midfield.

Chelmsford 5

Lawrence 0

Capt. Josh Ofosu scored the Lions’ first and last goals and Chelmsford has now shut out both of its opponents this fall.

Also scoring goals for Chelmsford were Ethan Lafontant, Ben Thompson and Ethan Hayes. Picking up assists were Chris Grover, Jack Beauchesne and Lafontant. Chelmsford led 4-0 at halftime.

In girls soccer action, North Middlesex played to a 0-0 tie and North Andover shut out Lowell, 6-0. The Red Raiders trailed 4-0 at halftime.
