Field hockey

At Northwest, visiting Wyoming Area got a hat trick from Kayla Kiwak, two goals from Toni Minichello and one from Lauren Parente in a 6-1 win over the Rangers.

Ellie Glataz made eight saves.

Northwest’s goal came from Megan Harry.

At Dallas, Coughlin’s Rachel Bath took won top singles in three sets, but Dallas earned every other point to win the match.

At Crestwood, Valley West swept singles play including a 6-0, 6-0 win from No. 1 Anabel Gifoli. Morgan Shedletsky and Julia Franks added a doubles win for the Spartans.

Hannah Sobolewski and Korina Cheng won Crestwood’s lone mach.

Girls soccer

At Meyers, the Mohawks outshot Hanover Area 21-5 in a 3-1 victory.

Hayley Krasnavage, Lydia McFarlane and Elizabeth Livingston all scored goals.

Maria Fedorczyk scored for Hanover Area with Abby Thompson making 17 saves.

At Coughlin, a first-half goal from Berwick’s Blake Girton was equalized in the second half by Coughlin’s Logan Davison, and the team’s ended tied at 1.

Luis Garcia had 11 saves for Berwick while David Sikora had seven for Coughlin.
