Mass. gas prices drop a penny
BOSTON (AP) — The cost of a gallon of gas in Massachusetts is down for the first time in weeks.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that a gallon of self-serve, regular dropped a penny to an average of $3.51.
That’s still 7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, but 14 cents lower than a year ago.
The national average is a penny higher at $3.52.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.35 per gallon to as high as $3.69.
