Stewart Roper: Time to really drain that swamp

December 22, 2018

This is an open letter to President Trump.

Dear Mr. President: My name is CWO4 Stewart Roper, USMC retired. I have been putting off writing this letter for a while because I felt you have enough on your plate. Listening to everything that has been going on the past two years I knew it was time to write this letter.

I had never voted before the 2016 election. I did not have much faith in the government. I knew the direction that our government was heading was frightening. Listening to you, Mr. Trump, I became more interested in what you were saying and that you had no reason to run for president other then you were very interested in saving what was left of the demise of America and before I felt helpless. Why would anyone want a job that they did not need to do so? This sparked my interested, I also thought that if I did not vote and Clinton won, I could not complain.

I am writing this letter to you, to tell you that there are millions and millions of Americans that have your back and believe in you, and understand that you are our last hope to save America. We know that you keep your promises and we have your back and believe in you. Most Americans like what you have done. Americans want to believe that you are going to drain the swamp and make America great again.

The swamp has been draining the American people of our money for years, like the waste of money put into the Russian Collusion probe; what a waste of our money. Those in the swamp don’t like you because they are afraid that you will stop them from their continuous stealing from America.

American people know who some of the swamp people are and the crimes they have committed unlawfully against America. Americans want to know when these criminals are going to pay the price for their crimes.

If you want the American people to start believing in the government, start charging those in our government who have committed crimes. At this point, Americans have little faith in the government, but we know that you, the president, have our backs and will do whatever it takes to make America great again. As Americans we know that you keep your promises. This gives us hope again. “Don’t give up the ship”

God bless the President and God bless the United States of America.
