Assaults and thefts among recent Monroeville police investigations

Monroeville police filed the following charges Aug. 11-30 in District Judge Jeffrey L. Herbst’s office:Victor Everett, 48, of Pittsburgh with simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Aug. 19 in connection with an incident at Center Road and Lorraine Drive.Timothy Lee, 23, of Braddock with providing false written statement with sale or transfer of firearms and unsworn falsification to authorities. Charges were filed Aug. 30 in connection with an incident along the 200 block of Mall Boulevard.Joseph Sada, 23, of Monroeville with retail theft and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed Aug. 19 in connection with an incident along the 4100 block of William Penn Highway.Anthony Portis, 36, of Pittsburgh with possession with intent to deliver, possession of controlled substances, scattering rubbish and turning movements and required signals. Charges were filed Aug. 15 in connection with an incident at Old Haymaker Road and the Route 376 ramp.Allison Kacin, 44, of Murrysville with possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed Aug. 11 in connection with an incident along the 2100 block of Mosside Boulevard.Jeffrey Bachowski, 47, of Pittsburgh with driving under the influence, driving on right side of roadway, turning movements and required signals and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Charges were filed Aug. 30 in connection with an incident along the 4200 block of William Penn Highway.Christopher Lewis, 50, of Pitcairn with burglary, criminal mischief, three counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of theft by unlawful taking. Charges were filed Aug. 21 in connection with an incident along the 100 block of Carrington Court.
