Police: 2 people, dog found dead of apparent gunshot wounds
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia police say two people and a dog have been found dead of apparent gunshot wounds at a house in Charleston.
Charleston police spokeswoman Lt. Autumn Davis tells news outlets 47-year-old Jenni Chesney and 50-year-old Kenneth Campbell were found dead Wednesday morning.
Davis says a Kanawha Metro 911 dispatcher received a call Wednesday of two people dying at the home from cardiac arrest. Davis says responding medics called the police once they determined it was a crime scene, and the case is being investigated as a double homicide.
