The company boosted its quarterly earnings and sales estimates.

Career Education Corp., down $7.16 at $32.32

The operator of secondary schools was reportedly accused by a former employee of illegally inflating enrollment and boosting its bottom line.

Cisco Systems, up 67 cents at $23.97

The company’s stock was upgraded by an analyst, who forecast improvement in the telecommunications equipment market.
