Pike County Man Accused Of Selling Heroin From Motel Room

November 26, 2018

PALMYRA TWP. — A Pike County man is accused of selling heroin from a motel room while free on bail stemming from another heroin arrest earlier this year.

State police arrested Luke Camuso, 23, 215 Towpath Road, Lackawaxen Twp., on Nov. 20 after troopers learned he was selling heroin from a room at Gresham’s Lake View Motel, 2499 Route 6. Police raided the room and found Camuso with heroin and a “significant amount” of cash, troopers said. Camuso had been free on $15,000 bail stemming from an August incident when troopers confiscated heroin, money and a shotgun from Camuso’s home, police said.

Camuso faces drug charges stemming from both incidents. He is free after posting $75,000 bail Monday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 5.
