NEW YORK (AP) _ Alan Tomidy scored 31 points and Marist won its fourth straight game Thursday night, beating Long Island University 86-69.

The Red Foxes (9-1, 4-0 Northeast Conference) never trailed and sent the Blackbirds (3-7, 0-2) to their third straight loss.

Tomidy scored nine points as Marist jumped out to a 20-11 lead in the first 11:20 en route to a 38-24 halftime lead. Marist held its largest lead, 75-49, on a foul shot by Kareem Hill with 5:01 to play.

Corey Goodall had 17 points to lead LIU.
