Rodman Settles Suit With Waitress
LAS VEGAS (AP) _ Dennis Rodman has settled a lawsuit with a Las Vegas cocktail waitress who had accused him of picking her up by the sides of her breasts.
The case was scheduled to go to trial in U.S. District Court here on Monday.
Rodman’s Las Vegas attorney, William Urga, declined comment on the settlement, saying it was confidential.
Connie Wilcox, 48, had said she filed suit against the former NBA star because she wanted to teach him a lesson. She said she was serving drinks to Rodman’s entourage in April of 1998 when he touched her.
Rodman, released recently from the Dallas Mavericks, has faced at least seven lawsuits in the past two years regarding his behavior in Las Vegas casinos.
