Celebrate ‘Advent in the Spirit of St. Nicholas’

“Advent in the Spirit of St. Nicholas” will be presented 2 p.m. Thursday at Assisi Heights Spirituality Center.

Advent is a season of anticipation, preparation and longing. It has a dual focus of past and future, symbolizing the spiritual journey of knowing Christ has come, is present, and will come again. Our task is to live well in the “in between times.” On this feast of St. Nicholas, Father Jim Russell will present stories of the “between times” of promise and the unfolding of hope.

There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome. To register, go www.rochesterfranciscan.org or call 529-3524.
