Police ID body found in Pittston
PITTSTON, Maine (AP) — State police have identified the body of a young man found dead in the Kennebec River in Pittston.
Police said Monday the body that found Saturday afternoon has been identified as 23-year-old Jonathan Barber of Readfield, who was last seen Sept. 8 in Waterville.
The state medical examiner’s office says his cause of death hasn’t been determined and is subject to further study.
State police say there’s no sign of foul play.
