Police: Woman stole more than $55,000 from solar company
WESTMINSTER, Vt. (AP) — Police say a Vermont woman stole more than $55,000 from a local solar company.
WCAX-TV reports 49-year-old Vicki Thornton, of Ludlow, worked for the company’s financial division. Police say she transferred the money from the business’ bank account into a business credit card account she created between February 2016 and May 2017.
Thornton turned herself in Wednesday. She is due in court in May. It wasn’t immediately known if she had a lawyer, and a phone number couldn’t be found for her.
