CLEVELAND, Ohio -- If you think “Rocky IV” is the best “Rocky” (it is), you’ll want to mark November 21 on your calendar.

That’s when “Creed II,” which can be considered a sequel to both “Rocky IV” and “Creed” lands in the theaters. Cleveland native Steven Caple Jr. (“The Land”) takes over directing duties from Ryan Coogler, who went on to make “Black Panther.”

The movie picks up approximately 25 to 30 years after “Rocky IV,” with rising boxer Adonis Creed (a buff Michael B. Jordan) accepting a match against Viktor Drago, whose father, the merciless Russian boxer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), killed Adonis’ father, the legendary Apollo Creed many years ago.

Of course, Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa is around to train and guide Adonis.

“He broke things in me that ain’t never been fixed,” Rocky Balboa, who also fought Ivan Drago in “Rocky IV,” warns Adonis in the trailer. “It ain’t worth it.”

Stallone also wrote the screenplay-- his seventh script out of the eight Rocky movies.

The cast includes Tessa Thompson and Phylicia Rashad reprising their roles from 2015′s “Creed.”
