Five injured in downtown crash when driver has apparent seizure
Five people, including three children, were injured in a crash when a woman had an apparent seizure as she was driving downtown Tuesday evening.
San Antonio Police Department Sgt. Michael Tuma said the woman, 70, began having a seizure at about 7 p.m. in 900 block of South Alamo.
A passenger tried pulling the vehicle over, honking the horn to warn people near the SUV’s path, Tuma said.

The SUV continued into a traffic signal post before crashing into a tree on the parking lot of a gas station, investigators said.
Several bystanders rushed to the scene to help, police said.
The driver, passenger and three children between 6 and 10 years old were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
