Manufacturers given greater visibility of production process as Sage releases new module for Sage 100cloud
ATLANTA, May 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sage (FTSE: SGE), the market leader in cloud business management solutions, today announced at Sage Summit Atlanta the release of a new manufacturing module for Sage 100cloud. Production Management will now be available in Sage 100cloud, the cloud-connected ERP solution for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
Sage also today released a study by Forrester Consulting1 revealing that more than half of manufacturing and distribution companies are planning to invest in hybrid cloud solutions to help achieve their business goals. The study findings underscore how companies in complex industries are taking a hybrid cloud approach to achieve digital transformation.

The study also uncovered that cost reduction is the number one priority for mid-market manufacturers, and over two-thirds of businesses looking to reduce costs reported that on-premise or a hosted (non-cloud) deployment model is the best for helping them to achieve their outcomes. Sage 100cloud gives businesses access to hybrid cloud solutions without sacrificing the customization of an on-premise or hosted solution.
With the new Sage Production Management module, Sage100cloud users have visibility into the entire production process.
