MIDDLETOWN, N.J. (AP) _ Geraldo Rivera and his fourth wife are separating after 12 years of marriage, a spokesman for the talk show host said.

The couple on Monday confirmed they have been living apart.

Rivera and C.C. Dyer are working together amicably toward a legal separation and there are no current plans for a divorce, according to a statement issued by Rivera's public relations firm Wednesday

The two have lived together for 19 years and have two daughters, ages 6 and 5.

The two also plan to continue working together on civic activities.

Ms. Dyer is publisher of The Two River Times, a weekly newspaper in Monmouth County. Rivera has a talk show on cable channel CNBC.
