A Kuna man is facing nine felony charges after police and prosecutors say he sexually abused three children over the course of 12 years.

A grand jury on Monday indicted Ronald Manzer, 47, on seven counts of child abuse of a minor younger than 16 years old, and two counts of lewd conduct with a child younger than 16 years old. According to the indictment, the abuse occurred between 2000 and 2012. According to Patrick Orr, spokesman for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, county detectives began investigating the case earlier this fall, after taking it over from another law enforcement agency. A warrant was issued for his arrest on the same day. According to court records, Manzer appeared in court Tuesday for arraignment. An Ada County magistrate judge set his bail at $500,000. He remains in the Ada County Jail Wednesday, with an arraignment scheduled for Dec. 28.
