Andersen Fuels Wilmington
Sophomore forward Chase Andersen scored in the first five minutes and the Wilmington High field hockey team held on for a 1-0 win over Middlesex League foe Arlington on the road.
Sophomore Johanna Robinson made 4 saves to make sure Andersen’s goal held up.
Also starring for Wilmington (5-6) were seniors Diana Riley, Molly Foley and Kacie Bourell.

Pelham (8-3) didn’t allow a shot on its net during this win.
Jessica Slaton had 2 goals and an assist for the Pythons. Sydney Nutter had a goal and an assist, and Abbey Bevens added an assist. Goalie Ryan Atkins was credited with the shutout.
Lowell captured its first victory of the fall Wednesday night.
Senior captain Laura Heslin led the Red Raiders by scoring all 3 goals. Heslin’s first two goals were assisted by sophomore Liz Tighe. Her third was scored on a penalty stroke.
Juniors Emilie O’Beirne and Julia Sullivan played strong in the back and helped on the offensive attack. Niky Yrrizarry added an offensive spark for Lowell (1-6).
