Brush Gets Second, Third at MIAA State Championships

PRINCETON -- Chloe Brush of Groton-Dunstable/Tyngsboro enjoyed an outstanding day of skiing Wednesday at Wachusett Mountain.

Skiing

Brush, a Tyngsboro High student, placed second in the girls slalom race in 35.07 seconds and took third in the giant slalom in 61.25 seconds at the MIAA Alpine Championships.

Sarah Creamer of Concord-Carlisle also had a terrific day. Creamer was sixth in the giant slalom in 62.15 and 13th in the slalom in 37.24.

In the giant slalom, Kailah Greenberg of Acton-Boxboro was 24th in 64.28.

The Acton-Boxboro girls were seventh as a team.

On the boys side, William Thompson of Groton-Dunstable/Tyngsboro placed seventh in the slalom in 36.58.

For the Lunenburg/Littleton/Leominster team, Littleton student Travis Reardon took eighth in the giant slalom in 59.0 and ninth in the slalom in 35.35.

Kyle Murray of Westford placed 24th in the giant slalom in 61.34.

In the boys team standings, Westford took eighth and Acton-Boxboro claimed 11th.
