HFD responds to fire on McCoy Road
HUNTINGTON — Huntington Fire Department responded to a house fire that was reported to Cabell County 911 around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of McCoy Road.
According to Huntington Fire Chief Jan Rader, crews encountered flames coming through the roof of the residence upon arrival accompanied by heavy smoke. Firefighters discovered heavy flames and smoke in the attic of the residence. Rader said crews had the fire under control within 25 minutes of arriving on scene.
No one was inside the home at the time.
