MILAN (AP) — Italy coach Antonio Conte now has a squad of 40 for next week's friendly against Albania after calling up another 14 players on Friday.

Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi could be in line for his Italy debut after twice battling back from testicular cancer.

Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka, Cagliari defender Luca Rossettini and Genoa midfielder Stefano Sturaro could also make their first international appearances.

Domenico Criscito returns to the squad as does Alessandro Matri after more than two years out of the national team.

The players will join up with the other 26 in the squad by midnight on Sunday, after the 2016 European qualifying match against Croatia in Milan.

Tuesday's match will be held at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genoa, to aid the port city's recovery from devastating flooding.
