Former hotel burns down, fire marshal’s office called in
TWIN MOUNTAIN, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Fire Marshal’s office has been called to investigate a fire that burned down a former hotel and restaurant in Twin Mountain.
WMUR-TV reports officials said a trucker passing by on Route 3 North late Sunday saw the former Grand View Lodge on fire and called it in. The three-story structure has been closed for at least a decade.
Officials say they had trouble fighting the fire because a water main broke while they were using the hydrants.
No injuries have been reported.
