Hiddink extends contract at Anzhi
MOSCOW (AP) — The chairman of Russian football team Anzhi Makhachkala says coach Guus Hiddink will extend his contract for a year.
Hiddink, a former coach of Russia, Turkey and PSV Eindhoven, was hired by big-spending Anzhi in February 2012.
Chairman Konstantin Remchikov said on his Twitter account on Tuesday that Hiddink and the club have exercised the option for him to coach another year.
Under Hiddink, Anzhi reached the final 16 in the Europa League.
