Havasu man arrested on hit and run, underage alcohol consumption charges
An overturned Polaris RZR led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Lake Havasu City man Saturday.
According to Havasu Police, Cody Noe, 20, faces misdemeanor charges after he allegedly rolled the off-road vehicle in the area of Snead Drive and fled the scene without contacting police.
A neighbor said he talked with a young man, who told him he rolled the vehicle and was going home to get a rope to flip it over. Police visited the home where the vehicle was registered, and that’s when they found Noe with bloodshot, water eyes and a strong odor of alcohol, the police report says. Noe told officers he flipped the vehicle and left the scene to “fix the situation.” He also told officers he went home and drank a little after the accident. He said he hadn’t been drinking prior to the accident. Noe’s grandfather told officers the RZR was valued at $50,000 and said Noe didn’t have permission to use it.
Noe was arrested on misdemeanor charges of hit and run and underage consumption. He was taken to Lake Havasu City Jail, where he was booked and held for court.
