1 p.m. — More than 250 top student spellers from Colorado elementary and middle schools will compete in the 75th Annual Colorado State Spelling Bee. The winner will advance to compete for a $30,000 cash prize in the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C. in May.

Deadline for Colorado to respond to a lawsuit by Nebraska and Oklahoma asking the Supreme Court to overturn Colorado’s legalization of recreational marijuana. The two neighboring states allege they are being overrun with Colorado marijuana that is making it harder for them to enforce their own drug laws.
