KENT, Ohio (AP) _ Brent Baldwin passed for two touchdowns and ran for two scores and LeAndre Moore rushed for 162 yards as Ball State beat Kent 28-13 Saturday.

The loss was the sixth in a row for Kent (1-7-1 overall, 0-5-1 Mid-American).

Baldwin, who completed 8-of-12 passes for 97 yards, opened the scoring with a 6-yard TD pass to Dane Wheeler and made it 21-0 five seconds before halftime with a 23-yard touchdown pass to Michael Blair.

Baldwin also scored on a 3-yard run in the second quarter and a 45-yard run in the third period. He rushed for 64 yards on 11 carries.

Moore carried 27 times for Ball State (6-4, 5-2 MAC), which outrushed Kent 264-97. Kent’s Astron Whatley, the MAC’s third-leading rusher, was limited to 41 yards on 18 carries.

Todd Goebbel threw a pair of TD passes for Kent, a 2-yarder to O.J. Santiago and a 40-yarder to Lance Hansen. Goebbel completed 14-of-32 passes for 114 yards.

Ball State lost three fumbles, the only turnovers of the game.
