Bradley International Airport evacuated after water main break
WINDSOR LOCKS — A water main break led to the evacuation of Bradley International Airport, Connecticut State Police said Saturday evening.
The water main broke around 7:35 p.m., state police spokeswoman Kelly Grant said.
“The airport was initially evacuated, but is no longer under evacuation,” Grant said. It was unclear how many, or whether any, flights were delayed or canceled by the incident.
Grant said the airport had no power, but that emergency lighting was being activated. The airport’s fire department remains at the scene.
