Redskins face second-to-longest odds to win next year’s Super Bowl
An online sportsbook has already listed odds for next year’s Super Bowl and they don’t think much of the Washington Redskins.
The Redskins face the second-to-longest odds to win Super Bowl LIV ahead of only the Miami Dolphins, per BetOnline.
Washington is grouped together with eight other teams at 66-1: the Oakland Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, Detriot Lions, Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals.
The Dolphins are listed at 100-1.
It’s not hard to see why a sportsbook would have little faith in the Redskins in 2019. Alex Smith is still recovering from a broken leg, and it’s not known when he could potentially return or if at all.
BetOnline, meanwhile, has the Kansas City Chiefs as the favorites to win next year’s Super Bowl at 7-1.
