Mohave Valley man arrested on drug, weapons charges
BULLHEAD CITY — The Arizona Department of Public Safety Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission reports the seizure of 64 firearms and equipment used to make marijuana wax during a warrant search.
Mark MacAlpine, 54, was arrested last week after a narcotic search warrant was executed at his home in the 7800 block of Green Valley Drive in Mohave Valley. MacAlpine was booked on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct involving weapons.
Further investigation led detectives to execute another search warrant at MacAlpine’s home Wednesday, said spokeswoman Emily Fromelt of the Bullhead City Police Department.
That search, she said, resulted in the seizure of the weapons and wax equipment.
Fromelt said MacAlpine will face additional charges of misconduct involving weapons and narcotic sales.
He remains in the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
