Police blotter: Huntington home burglarized through window

HUNTINGTON- The following information was provided by reports from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office:

BURGLARY: A home in the 300 block of Wright Court in Huntington’s Eastern Heights area was reported burglarized Sunday with thieves taking a shotgun, an Apple television and mount, and an air mattress, according to criminal complaints from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft happened sometime between July 5 and Sunday. Relatives checking on the home during that time reported noticing one of the windows had been covered with paper towels. It is suspected the suspect entered through that rear window.

The total amount lost is valued at around $1,000. No suspects are known.

The Huntington Police Department listed 11 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Monday, according to a printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Shoplifting, 2:43 a.m. Monday, 2800 block of 5th Avenue.

Fleeing on foot, domestic battery, 12:01 a.m. Monday, 500 block of Bridge Street, Guyandotte.

Third-offense domestic battery, warrant service, 11:30 p.m. Sunday, 1100 block of 9th Avenue.

Petit larceny, midnight Friday, 2500 block of Adams Avenue.

Possession of prescription medication, possession of a controlled substance, 4:02 p.m. Sunday, Norway Avenue/Sycamore Street.

Warrant service, 3:47 p.m. Sunday, 1000 block of Van Buren Avenue.

Shoplifting, 12:56 p.m. Sunday, 900 block of 9th Avenue.

Petit larceny, 9:25 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of 9th Avenue.

Possession of a controlled substance, fleeing on foot, leaving the scene of an accident, 6:14 a.m. Sunday, West 11th Street/Adams Avenue.

Wanton endangerment involving a firearm, 4:27 a.m. Sunday, Hal Greer Boulevard/5th Avenue.

Domestic assault, 1:15 a.m. Sunday, first block of Hamill Road.

The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail:

Jeremy Todd Stender, 36, was jailed at 2:30 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with third-offense domestic battery and domestic battery. Bond was not set.

Pami Jo Church, 28, was jailed at 6:15 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with being a fugitive from justice, fleeing on foot and shoplifting. Bond was partially set at $3,250.

Timothy Keith Wise, 59, was jailed at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with failure to register as a sex offender. Bond was $10,000.

Michael Ryan Elliot, 39, was incarcerated at 3:40 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with fleeing, speeding, no operator’s license and reckless driving. Bond was $10,000 cash.

Benjamin Curtis Thompson, 37, was incarcerated at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with burglary and petit larceny. Bond was not set.
