NORTH WATERBORO, Maine (AP) — State wildlife officials say a body matching the description of a missing Maine teen has been pulled from Lake Arrowhead.

Maine game wardens on Saturday retrieved what they believe is the body of 15-year-old Jaden Dremsa. The Waterboro teen was last seen May 8 when he left home to take a walk in the nearby woods.

Rescuers began searching for Dremsa after he was reported missing, including divers who searched several parts of the lake. The search was scaled back five days his disappearance.

Officials say the body will be taken to the state medical examiner's office for examination and identification.

The Maine Warden Service thanked those who helped in the search and said its thoughts are with Dremsa's family and friends.
