MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a jail inmate at a Tennessee facility where the son of professional wrestling icon Jerry Lawler was fatally injured earlier this year.

The Commercial Appeal reports that Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine says the agency is inquiring into the death of 59-year-old Gregory Kent Shearin at the Hardeman County Jail.

The bureau says Shearin was found unresponsive in his cell bed Wednesday. Shearin was being held on a charge of domestic aggravated assault.

The Bolivar jail is the same facility where former WWE wrestler Brian Lawler was found hanging in a cell. He died at a hospital July 29.

Brian Lawler was being held on charges including DUI. Jerry Lawler has questioned a ruling that his 46-year-old son died of a suicide.
