Holly Springs officials believe days of heavy rain contributed to the collapse of a retaining wall at a Target store Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the wall on the side of the Target on Grand Hill Place collapsed at about 4:15 p.m. No injuries were reported and no cars were damaged, but the parking lot was closed off as a precaution following the collapse.

Flood advisories were issued for multiple counties north of the Triangle on Saturday, including Orange and Person, as heavy rain soaked grounds already saturated from days of persistent rain. The rain is expected to move out of the Triangle by lunchtime on Sunday.

Flood warnings were also in effect for much of western North Carolina, and a rock slide closed both directions of Interstate-40 near Asheville on Friday night.
