Callon Petroleum says it plans to relocate its official HQ
NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) — Callon Petroleum says it’ll move its official headquarters to Houston, but that dozens of employees based in a Mississippi city would remain rooted there.
The company announced Tuesday that the more than three-dozen Natchez-based Callon employees would stay firmly rooted in the city.
Callon CEO Joe Gatto tells the Natchez Democrat that the decision to officially move the corporate headquarters provides a clearer picture of Callon’s operations to investors and was a natural one that happened as the company’s business interests changed.
Gatto says they once had operations in the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf Coast and now their assets are in Texas. But Gatto says he believes the company’s future is bright as is its continuing presence in Natchez.
