New transportation commissioner confirmed in New Hampshire
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The Executive Council has voted to confirm Victoria Sheehan as head of New Hampshire’s Transportation Department.
Sheehan, who lives in Nashua, has been manager of strategic planning and highway performance at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, where she coordinated the highway division’s five-year, $5 billion capital plan and $600 million annual operating budget. She was the top choice of a search committee.
Sheehan is replacing Chris Clement, who left the job in December for a position with the University of New Hampshire.
