Ion Geophysical: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
HOUSTON (AP) _ Ion Geophysical Corp. (IO) on Wednesday reported a loss of $8.6 million in its second quarter.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 61 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 58 cents per share.
The provider of seismic data to oil and gas companies posted revenue of $41.8 million in the period.
Ion Geophysical shares have increased 86% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $9.66, a fall of 62% in the last 12 months.
