JOLIET, Ill. _ Police say a man, a woman and two young children are dead in suburban Chicago in what’s being investigated as apparent slayings and suicide. The Joliet Police Department says officers found the four dead on the second story of a home about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. SENT: 120 words. Will be updated.

FARM DEBT

WICHITA, Kan. _ The nation’s farmers are struggling to pay back their loans after years of low crop prices, with nearly one out of five loans in a government farm program now delinquent for the worst January default rate in at least nine years.
