Bald eagle spotted along Boston’s Charles River
BOSTON (AP) — A bald eagle has been spotted soaring along the Charles River in Boston.
The group’s executive director, Michael Nichols, says he hopes more visitors to the riverside park will get a chance to see the bird in coming weeks.
Once in danger of extinction, bald eagles have made a huge comeback nationwide and were removed from the federal endangered species list in 2007. They were reintroduced in Massachusetts in 1982.
