Longmont Police Notes: Fighting Sisters

Longmont police took a report April 7 of an assault that occurred between two women who are sisters. The reporting party chose to not press charges and this case is closed.

Longmont officers responded Wednesday to a hit-and-run accident at 225 Kimbark St. The case is open with a suspect identified.

Longmont police responded Thursday to the area of Boston Avenue and Main Street in reference to a trespass. A man was contacted and later arrested for violation of a protection order.

Officers responded Thursday to a theft from a business in the 500 block of S. Hover Street. A man and woman were taken into custody, booked and released on a summons.

At about 11:15 p.m. Thursday police received a call for service in relation to a theft that occurred in the 2500 block of 3rd Avenue. The case will be closed due to a lack of evidence.

Police took a report Friday of a cold dog bite in the 2400 block of Airport Road. The case will be closed and the dog will be quarantined at home.
