Cleanup planned for Union Township

CHESAPEAKE, Ohio — The semi-annual cleanup day will be held for Union Township residents from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, or until the dumpsters are full.

The cleanup will take place at the township lot on Coryville Road in Chesapeake, Ohio.

Items that won’t be accepted are tires, hazardous materials, paint and paint cans, household garbage, and brush and yard waste.

Those dropping off items are asked to bring proof of residence.
