Barbershoppers Singing Valentine Hotline Is Now Open

The Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony Chorus has officially opened this year’s Singing Valentine Hotline, and reservations are now being accepted for Northeastern Pennsylvanians to “Say I Love You with a Song” this Feb. 14. Barbershop harmony chorus quartets are available to sing favorite Valentine’s songs a cappella for that special someone this Valentine’s Day. Each serenade includes two songs, a long-stemmed red rose, a box of chocolates, and a personalized card for $50 (upgrade to a dozen roses for $100). From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., three quartets from the chorus, donning tuxedos and red vests, will travel throughout the area. Call the hotline at 570-285-4810. Credit cards are accepted. For information, visit www.singwb.com. First row, from left, are Joe Husty, Ralph Gillespie, Ryder Milia, and Phil Brown. Second row: James Morpeth, Justin Davis, Bryan Newton, Drew Smith, and Justin Shaffern. Also participating are Tom Roberts, Ted Rebennack, and Ron Prutzman.
