COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. (AP) _ Minnesota Timberwolves guards Anthony Peeler and Terrell Brandon returned to practice after missing time because of a freak injury and an apparent allergic reaction.
Peeler missed the first of two practices Tuesday because he was hurt while receiving room service at the team’s hotel.
Peeler sustained a gash just below his right knee that needed six stitches when he tried to get out of the way of a server and stumbled into the glass edge of his whirlpool Monday.
``It was dark, so that didn’t help,″ Peeler said. He returned for Tuesday night practice.
Brandon was back at practice after missing Monday’s workout because of respiratory problems, apparently from an allergic reaction to medication for muscle cramping.
Brandon was given sodium pills Sunday night after becoming dehydrated and started having cramps at the end of practice. He woke up Monday with tightness in his chest and had trouble breathing.
