2 North Carolina police officers charged with DUI
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Two North Carolina police officers have been placed on administrative duty after being charged with drunken driving.
Raleigh television station WRAL reports that Durham police confirmed the arrests of the two officers this week.
Investigator Kelly Stewart, who has been with the Durham Police Department since 2007, was arrested Thursday and charged with DWI.
Corporal Paul Clark, a member of the police force since 2008, was Friday in Orange County.
Both men were off duty at the time of the alleged incidents.
