BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (AP) — When you buy a can of paint that says “tank green,” you’d expect the tank you would be painting would end up, well, green. But that didn’t happen and officials at the West Virginia National Guard are red-faced that a tank they were trying to restore is now lemon-line yellow. The head of a science fiction club at Bluefield State College says crews have been cleaning and painting the tank for about 20 years _ and took a color sample to a paint supplier trying to get two gallons of fresh paint. The label said “tank green” _ and even though it looked yellow, the painters figured it would turn olive drab once it dried. They figured wrong. It’s expected the tank will be repainted, once the right color is found.

When she was taken into custody, she called 24-year-old Sebastian Rehm to come get her. But when Rehm arrived at the station, police say he reeked of booze _ and he was charged with drunken driving. Both were eventually released to another driver.
