NEW YORK (AP) _ A fight card featuring a welterweight title bout between Vernon Forrest and Raul Frank that was to be televised by HBO will not be held Saturday night because of an injury to Frank.

The show at the Grand Casino in Tunica, Miss., was canceled because Frank tore a tendon in his right foot while running on Tuesday, HBO announced on Thursday.

It was to have been the second fight between Forrest and Frank for the vacant IBF welterweight championship. The two met on Aug. 26, but the match ended in a no-contest when Frank was cut in the third round after an accidental clash of heads.

No new fight date was set.
